“When searching for an illustrator for my youngest-age books like Goodnight Numbers, my top priority was that the illustrations communicate endless love and a feeling like

you're cuddling on the couch with your loved ones. Alicia's illustrations captured this feeling perfectly and I couldn't be more thrilled. I've used her for 3 of my books and if

I write another book for that age range again, she'll be my first call!

Danica Mckellar

New York Times bestselling author of Goodnight Numbers and

Bathtime Mathtime: Shapes.

“There are not that many people who do early childhood illustration well. We were looking for that warm, fuzzy and cuddly thing, but well drawn. Alicia was the one.

I would recommend or work with Alicia again in a heartbeat!

She is fast and flexible.  The color and texture of her work is amazing and

she is a joy to work with.”

Marie O'neill

Director of Publishing Scholastic

“I have nothing but positive things to say about Alicia. It was a pleasure to get to know her and work with her. I am looking forward to more projects in the future.”

Jason Zamajtuk

Art Director Random House Children's Books

“Alicia is an exceptional talent. Her work is accomplished, detailed and wonderfully imaginative.

She is easy to work with, professional, and brings an extraordinary

level of creativity and skill to all her work.

I would hire her again in a heartbeat.”

Creative Director Intervisual Books

I've had the honor of having two of the books I've illustrated, Playtime Baby (Penguin-Ladybird) and Goodnight Numbers (Crown) chosen to be part of the wonderful Imagination Library created by the amazing Dolly Parton!

Bob and Elmo reading Goodnight Numbers! They even created a puppet of one of the characters in the book, Mr Peach. A surreal and wonderful moment for me. :)
